WASHINGTON DC- Lara Trump is daring Alyssa Farah Griffin to keep her word.
In a new interview on Can't Be Censored
with hosts Travis Dhanraj and Karman Wong, Trump called out The View
co-host for breaking her viral on-air promise to wear a MAGA hat if Donald Trump helped free Israeli hostages.
"Alyssa Farah Griffin said that she was going to wear a MAGA hat have you seen that MAGA hat?" Dhanraj asked.
"I understand that she said that if the hostages were returned home and Donald Trump was the person to do it, she would wear a MAGA hat," Lara replied. "I'm still checking my watch. I have not seen Alyssa wearing a MAGA hat. I've got plenty, girl I'll send them to you, and she knows I will."
Griffin, a former Trump White House communications director turned vocal critic, made the pledge on The View
in December 2024, saying: "If he does good, if he gets the Israeli hostages out, I promise I will wear a MAGA hat for one day on this show and say, 'Thank you for doing it.'"
After a deal was announced that saw hostages released, Griffin never appeared on air in the red hat a moment that Axios reported has fuelled a growing backlash among Trump supporters, who accuse her of backtracking.
Now Lara Trump is turning up the pressure, offering to send Griffin the hat herself and daring her to put it on.
